The department functions meticulously in improving the oral health of populations from all background/ strata of life by organizing regular outreach programs and activities which helps the community. 

"Serve the deserving"

Department reach to the underprivileged section of the society and deliver treatments continuously by providing comprehensive care to the nearby districts. 

"Engaging in research activity”

Undergraduate research program, a pioneer program initiated by the Dept of Public health dentistry in improving the research skills in students and guiding them in publications. 

"Preventive dentistry"

The department trains the students in adopting and living by the principle of “Prevention is better than cure”. 

"Smile on the wheels"

The Department has one of the best mobile dental units in the state with 2 dental chairs, fully airconditioned compartments, public addressing system, LCD display screen and advanced infrastructure to provide comprehensive dental treatment to the public.
